purgastory | week two: the morgue...?

[The maze is prone to its twists and turns, and today you find it doing much the same. Perhaps you're trying to head back to the Heart. Maybe you're enjoying a little exercise at P.E.C.S., or in the middle of running away from the 5th mob this week that's trying to get you executed for crimes you didn't commit.

Regardless of where you start, here's where you suddenly stand: in a long hallway, lit only by cool florescent lights overhead. Not all of them work, leaving parts of the hallway shrouded in darkness. Behind you, there's only endless hallway. Ahead of you, there is one single, metal door.

If you head to the door and push it open, it swings into a morgue, but not the morgue you've seen in the funeral parlor. This morgue is dark and dingy, rust covering nearly every metal surface, as if it hasn't been touched in years. Inside of the room are rows upon rows of mortuary cabinets, some with the doors shut and some slightly ajar. There are also four mortuary slabs, empty for the time being. Each is lit up by a spotlight overhead; the only real source of light in this room, with the rest falling into shadow.

There appear to be two other rooms attached to this one, as well: a separate cold storage room that is even colder than the main room with another row of floor-to-ceiling cabinets similar to the first, and a storage room full of supplies.
